Playroom

Here are pictures of the playroom. Well, the playroom a few days ago.

I started re-doing the playroom this week...which consisted of selling all the furniture in there and ordering some new pieces. Well, by 'ordering' I mean I found some things on Walmart.com because craig's list just didn't have what I wanted. Next week: Painting. And little projects. And hopefully some of the stuff comes in. Then we can move on to the organizing!

We could spend several thousand dollars on this...or have John and his dad build it...I smell a summer project!

New Stuff

This month I have been taking a hiatus from spending money.

I am headed to Utah with the kids next week, and I want to be able to clear out every budget out there! My main objectives are: new bedding for our bed, clothes for Zach for this year (he is getting too tall for 2T) and little things like some cool plates to go as our backsplash in the kitchen.

I like the white bedding with a stripe, but I like the second one even better with the three little stripes

But it would be great to have a good pattern in there...I just haven't seen one I like yet. That's why it is going to be fun shopping!
I'll be starting at DownEast Outfitters...then going to Ross (and TJ Maxx, etc)

Can't wait! I am starting to want to get out and get stuff for the house...I just have to remind myself I will be making awesome finds in only one more week!

Pantry

Before:

AFTER:

John's dad put in 2' deep shelves in the pantry. They are amazing! Now we've got a baking shelf, a snack shelf, a dinner shelf, a big stuff/cereal shelf (we eat a lot of cereal) a food storage shelf, and a water shelf.
He also put these same deep shelves in the linen closet upstairs. Now we can fit SO much in that closet! What a big difference it makes!
